Only the French version of this document is legally binding. This English text is provided for information purposes.
This policy explains how Sudothink uses cookies and similar technologies. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a site. It is used in particular to maintain a session, remember preferences or measure audience.
2. Types of cookies used
Essential cookies (no consent required). Necessary for the platform to function: authentication (access and refresh tokens), session security, language preference. Their use does not require prior consent.
Functional cookies. Remember your display preferences, for example light or dark theme.
Audience measurement cookies (with consent). Subject to your consent, we use PostHog, hosted in the European Union, to measure platform usage and identify friction points. We also enable session recordings whose sensitive fields (passwords, payment data) are automatically masked before being sent.
Advertising cookies. None. Sudothink does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.
3. Lifetime
Cookies may be session cookies (deleted when the browser closes) or persistent (kept for a defined period). The choice expressed via the consent banner is kept for a maximum of 13 months, in line with the CNIL's recommendation.
4. How to manage cookies
You can control or delete cookies via your browser settings. Deleting essential cookies may however affect the platform's operation.
5. Consent
Before any audience measurement cookies are placed, we collect your consent via a banner displayed on your first visit. You are offered three equivalent choices:
- Accept all: essential and audience measurement cookies enabled.
- Reject all: only essential cookies are placed.
- Customise: choose category by category.
You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
6. Third-party cookies
Some providers may place cookies as part of their services: Stripe (payment security) and Cloudflare (resource optimisation and delivery).
7. Advertising trackers
Sudothink does not use advertising trackers, does not track your browsing across the web, and respects your browser's "Do Not Track" signal.
8. Relationship with privacy
Cookie management supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes all data processing.
9. Your rights
You can at any time ask which cookies are placed, object to their placement, request their deletion and withdraw your consent.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated to reflect technical or regulatory changes. The date of last modification appears at the top of this page.
