Terms of Use
Last updated: June 23, 2026
Only the French version of this document is legally binding. This English text is provided for information purposes.
1. Purpose and acceptance
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Sudothink platform, published by RENDERTHINK. Sudothink is intended for professional use. Creating an account and using the platform constitute unreserved acceptance of these Terms.
2. Definitions
- Service: the Sudothink platform, accessible via the web interface and the desktop agent.
- Customer: the professional legal entity or individual holding the subscription.
- User: any person accessing the platform under the Customer's authority, including members invited into an organisation.
- Organisation: the workspace bringing together a Customer's users, computers and configurations.
- Agent: the software installed on Windows computers to apply configurations and report computer status.
- Subscription: the subscription to a plan (Free, Starter, Pro or Business).
- Plan: the subscribed service level, which determines the available features.
- Deployment: the application of a configuration to one or more computers.
3. Account and security
The User is responsible for keeping their credentials confidential. Any action performed from their account is deemed to be performed by them. In the event of a suspected compromise, they undertake to inform RenderThink without delay and to change their credentials. Two-factor authentication is available and strongly recommended.
Each organisation has an Owner who invites members and assigns them roles (Owner, Admin, Member). Managing access within an organisation is the Owner's responsibility.
4. The agent and the managed computers
The Agent is installed on the Windows computers the Customer wishes to administer. The Customer warrants that it owns or has the necessary authorisations over the target computers.
The Customer is responsible for informing its end users or employees in advance about the use of Sudothink on their computers, and for complying with applicable provisions, in particular regarding employment law and data protection. Sudothink is not a tool for the permanent surveillance of individuals; any misuse for that purpose is prohibited (see section 5).
5. Acceptable use
The User undertakes to use Sudothink solely for the legitimate management of computers under its responsibility. Given the platform's ability to configure and deploy settings remotely, the following rules apply.
Prohibited uses. It is prohibited to use the platform to:
- deploy malicious software (ransomware, spyware, keyloggers, cryptominers, backdoors) or any harmful code via the deployment features;
- monitor individuals unlawfully or without consent, for example through hidden screen capture, keystroke logging or any covert collection without the end users' knowledge;
- manage computers without ownership or explicit authorisation from their holder;
- build a network of compromised machines (botnet) or attack, disrupt or compromise third-party systems;
- circumvent protections, licences or technical protection measures of third-party software via deployments;
- compromise the platform's security: unauthorised access, reverse engineering, circumvention of authentication, or abusive use of the API that disrupts the service.
Obligations towards end users. When administering the computers of third parties (employees, collaborators), the Customer undertakes to inform them in advance, to comply with employment law and the CNIL's rules on monitoring employee activity, and to have an appropriate legal basis.
Consequences. Any breach may result in immediate suspension or termination of access, without notice in the event of a serious breach, without prejudice to any legal proceedings. Any abuse can be reported to contact@sudothink.com.
6. Intellectual property
The Sudothink platform and all its components (interface, source code, trademarks, logos, documentation) are the exclusive property of RenderThink. The Customer is granted a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the platform, limited to the term of its subscription.
The data and configurations submitted by the Customer (scripts, settings, secrets, inventories) remain its exclusive property.
7. Availability and evolution of the service
RenderThink uses reasonable means to ensure the availability of the service, under the conditions set out in the Terms of Sale. RenderThink may evolve features, add or remove them; major changes are communicated with reasonable notice.
8. Responsibilities
The Customer is solely responsible for the deployments it carries out and their effects on the target computers. It is responsible for checking the targeted computers before each deployment and for maintaining appropriate backups. RenderThink is not responsible for the consequences of a configuration applied in error by the Customer, nor for interruptions attributable to third parties (host, network, operating system vendor).
9. Termination
The Customer may close its account or organisation at any time from its workspace. RenderThink may suspend or terminate access in the event of a breach of these Terms, without notice in the event of a serious breach.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. The French courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
11. Changes to the Terms
RenderThink may modify these Terms. Any change is notified to Users. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
