Which Windows settings can be applied remotely?
Security (firewall, disk encryption, screen lock), power, DNS, local accounts, remote desktop, time zone, updates, software, printer and copier drivers, startup programs, and custom installers.
Can I deploy to a group of computers without checking them one by one?
Yes. Organize your computers into fleets, then select the fleet during deployment to target all its members in a single operation.
Does the agent have to stay installed on computers permanently?
No. The agent is portable: you run it while you configure the computer, then you close it. Nothing runs continuously, so no attack surface is left between your sessions.
What happens to the computer once the agent is closed?
The applied configuration stays in place, but nothing controls the machine remotely anymore: the connection is cut. You relaunch the agent when you need to act again.
Can I replay the same configuration on other computers?
Yes. Save your configuration as a profile, then apply it to each new computer for the exact same result, identically, without starting from scratch.
